Lady Hoyas Put in Great Effort: Despite a 2-4 loss to Starr's Mill, the Lady Hoyas played really well. According to Coach Hausdorf, "The ladies made a
couple of mistakes and situations that cost us some goals. Quality teams will capitalize on your mistakes. I remain enthusiastic about the rest of
our season, so we can fine tune our offensive and defensive postures. We will learn from the Starr's Mill game, that we cannot let down our intensity
level. Great job to all our players, now it's time to move forward."

Great large photo of goalkeeper Katherine E. in action!
Best Wishes for a Speedy Recovery Michelle!: (3/16/05)
During the second half of the ladies' game against Marietta Tuesday night, Michelle clashed with a
Marietta player. She was taken to the hospital where, happily, they declared she did not suffer from a broken bone, but a "bone contusion". A few
days on crutches and she'll be back in the game as soon as she can put pressure on the leg.
From Coach Hausdorf: (3/15/05)
Congratulations to Rachel for being Marietta Daily Journal's Female Athlete of the Week! We are very proud of her
efforts on and off the field. She has worked very hard in her soccer career and is receiving her dividends now. To help her achieve success is a
strong team that plays with heart and the desire to win, so, as one shines, they all shine. Best of luck Rachel and all the team. Coach Hausdorf!
Women's and Men's Varsity Teams Beat Marietta: (3/12/04)
Tuesday night saw two intense soccer games between our Harrison Hoyas and the Marietta Blue
Devils. The first half of the women's game remained scoreless. And, it wasn't until 23 minutes into the second half when Rachel made a goal on
an assist by Jamie. Marietta came back to score on a penalty kick to tie it 1-1. However, with just over two minutes left to the game, Jamie
scored on an assist by Lauren to win the game 2-1!
Following the ladies' win, the men's team had an equally intense game which also remained scoreless for the first half. With less than 15 minutes
left to the game, Daniel made a goal with an assist by Kirk Lindblom. Three minutes later, Eric made the team's second goal on an assist by Alex Evert to secure the men's first win of the
season!
Men's and Women's JV Teams Played Marietta Monday Night: (3/11/05)
In the lady's game against Marietta, many of the players got to play and try out different
positions. The Lady Hoyas won 9-0. The men won their game 2-0 with goals by Michael Hanson assisted from JC Ely and a
goal by Josh Hargrove assisted by Michael Hanson. Coach Gross said they played very well.
JV and Varsity Boys Played Starr's Mill (3/11/05)
Since it was a non-region game, some of the players that normally do not start got a chance to play in
this game. The players looked good and it was a very even match the first half of the game with the scored tied 0-0 at half-time. Starr's Mill got
a single goal fairly early in the second half and held on despite Harrison having numerous chances at goal shots. The final score was 0-1. Another close match has left everyone frustrated:
players, coaches and parents. We’re seeing great individual efforts but seem to be missing it as a team.
